What do you think hydraulic or mechanical brakes

There has always been this problem, many people said that as the
mechanical brakes avid BB7 brake Like a hope, but others say that the
hydraulic has no comparison.

I've led avid BB7 and brake really well when properly regulated.
Also some v-brake brake very very well, but even so people do not see it ending ed or speak without having tested a mechanical brake.

I would like to know your opinion on this

I prefer hydro... cables seem a bit too weak for me, as in, im scared of the cable going "snap"...yeah there alright on the front but on the back it has to be hydraulic

if you set a cable vee or disk up right it will work amazing some vee's was better than my old magura set up (my mate ran a xtr vee black pads amazing bite hold the lot was o much better than my old magura set up)
then again if you set a hydro up right it can work just as good or better

Its just what you like vees/cable disks can be better 'cause you donn't need to blead them but can not work as well

I hate to just be an annoyance, but it's personal taste, try everything that you can out, then make a decision i used to run a Vee and really really liked it, running a magura at the moment, because I wanted to try something different.

Everything is relative, because I led mechanical brake on the rear back and really goes well, as you will see in the video to go, whether it is true that I have hope, but change

Don't like Magura's on the rear, but any disc is pretty much good. Vee's are also the bomb I have about a 50 dollar vee setup on my BMX and it works better than my Magura on my trials bike. Going rear disc as soon as possible. Hope's are the sickest thing out there. Nothing compares with them as far as stopping.

Avid BB7's when set up with a decent lever and cable, are in my opinion, the best front disc brake there is.

Yeah one of my mates just got one for the rear and it works great in all weather.

Just because i contaminated it doesnt mean it isnt a good brake.

Yeah it does You were cycling around the same speed when you had your brake on then with it off!

I prefer Hydro on the rear and Vee and the front.
But I would try vee on the rear because when mine is set up good, it is amazing
