But with frames nowadays, there normally isn't enough room to run a chain which is one link to long/short. So snail cams that big are 1) pointless 2) over weight

Well, thats what i presumed we had started to talk about after Ross said about bikes with horizontal drop-outs, because if he's talking about motorbikes it would be a pretty pointless post due to there being a picture of a motorbike with horizontal drop-outs in the post above. :lol!:
