Bath bleed
Fill bath up,
Sink brake fully under water,
Take bleed bolts from caliper + lever.
Pull
lever, sucks in water, then put finger over bleed bolt at caliper,
release lever, then take finger off, then pull lever, and hold in, and
put finger over bleed bolt at caliper...
Just repeat about 30 odd times, and jobs a good 'un.
Make sure brake is under water all the time, and you put bolts in under water aswell...
Bleed kit method
Thank Andrew Mcinnes for this
With a Magura bleed Kit. ( contains a 30 ml syringe ). Obviously a bigger syringe would work but a smaller one wont.
Fill up the syringe with water/fluid( water is better, add a little bit of anti-freeze for the winter
). Try to get rid of all the air you can from the syringe to give a better bleed.
Reduce the TPA so it is fuly down.
Take
out the piston bleed bolt and the lever bleed bolt then screw the
syringe into the piston and tighten ( not to tight, abit more than hand
tight ).
Push the water through untill there is about 5-10 ml
of water left in the syringe then start putting the lever bolt back in
whilst push the syringe slowly enough to only let drips come from the
lever untill the bolt is in tight.
Then take out the syringe and put in the piston bleed bolt.
This should work first time, if not then simply try again.
Once again, cheers andrew
