| Yeah, Midi Keyboard, a lot of time and currently I'm using Reason 4.0, also your welcome, its a genre that's needing to be heard by more, I just don't want it to go mainstream, then s**t gets made, the same happened with D'n'B, look at pendulum imo there pop now. | |

Now, shopping for a case for a new gaming PC build. Im thinking This? Lifes great apart from a few major things which cannot be changed now! | |

| I have that case, and it's really really nice, I suspect that the power supply's going to be s**t especially if your gonna be running a few gamin components. Get a decent cheap one, i've got a cheap little Coolermaster 460W the dual rail one (keep that in mind there's no need to expalin about dual vs signle all it really does is adds a little more stability from your supply to said component and vice versa) in mine, only 460 but obviusly if your going crossfire or SLi, get somthing like a 600W put in. Graphics. Once again in my rig I've got a 8800GTS the 320mb version, which is sadly discontinued, but its probably availably somewhere and I'd recomend it definatly, if not It's here and Ram where you've gotta splash out. Even the 280's are falling in price now however not enough to Sli/TriSli/QuadSli Ram, get as much as you can but remember if your running xp anything over 3gb will need taking out for the install and primary boot. I wouldnt really worry about all this DDR3 crap just yet, as you can still buy DDR1 in places! Cpu, main question here is Intel or AMD the gaming market used to make fun of us Intel users, but now? Even the Pentium D is a nice little gamin chip. I use one its clocked to 3.2 percore, and the little fucker isnt going to overheat on me either unlike its AMD friends. Naturally if i had the money I'd tell you to go get a nice quadcore something like a Q700. Sound, most onboard cards are fine if your just playing games, alot of mobo's come with 5.1 and even 7.1 outputs. My card is a Hercules MK2 its not a gamin soundcard, but it proccesses sounds like a gaming card should do, its got 4 ports for speakers (RCA or 3.5mm) obviusly though, this helps me with music production and that aspect of my computer. Dont skimp on a nice keyboard and mouse either. The Microsoft Wireless Mutimidia keyboard 1.1 is a really really nice one for games and general use. I know this probably wont be any help and might have made me sound patronising, but oh well if that's tghe case so be it It's jsut intended for anyone who's looking to build there own PC. | |
